Oliwia Sypien is a first generation Polish-American artist born and raised in Philadelphia. Sypien’s work explores nostalgia and environments portraying fragmented identity.

The series Amerykanka, just foreign enough is an investigation of her Polish heritage and upbringing in America.The series displays both digital and traditional printmaking techniques alongside soft sculpture and installation methods.
