About me

Oliwia Sypien is a first generation Polish-American conceptual artist born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With a BFA in Printmaking from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art, Sypien’s practice is grounded in technical precision and material exploration. Oliwia has exhibited at Tyler School of Art, Pennsylvania Academy Of Fine Arts, Second State Press, The Philadelphia Sketch Club, and Kitchen Table Gallery. Her work has been exhibited in a range of settings, from fine art shows to grassroots festivals, reflecting a commitment to reaching diverse audiences.

Oliwia thrives at the intersection of creativity, community, and a good matcha. She has developed a knack for connecting with people, guiding others with care, and turning ideas into shared experiences. She also is a firm believer of mentorship being less about having all the answers and more about asking the right questions to create that sweet sweet space for reflection and growth. Whether she’s organizing a workshop or helping someone untangle a creative block, Oliwia brings warmth, humor, and just the right amount of structure to help things flow.

Oliwia Sypien is especially passionate about making the arts feel accessible, inclusive, and just a little bit magical!
